Guidebook

The Erasmus+ project EnterSTEAM is a partnership between Latvia (coordinator), Hungary, Italy, Turkey, Austria, and Romania. The project combines the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) with entrepreneurship, creativity, and inclusion. The main goals are:

  1. To support schools and VET providers in working together with public and private partners.
  2. To improve the quality of education and help students gain skills that match today’s labor market.

To reach these goals, we first made a survey to see how teachers understand and use STEAM. Then, we carried out research in all partner countries about STEAM education. Finally, we created this methodological guidebook to give teachers practical tools and ideas for using STEAM with confidence.

This guidebook has four main sections:

  1. What is STEAM? – key ideas, benefits, methods, and good practices from partner countries.
  2. Repository of resources – ready-to-use materials from partner countries, in local languages, for different age groups.
  3. Inclusion, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE) – how to combine these values with STEAM, with practical ideas and suggestions.
  4. Research results – the findings of our EnterSTEAM survey, where 137 teachers and experts shared their views and experiences about STEAM and ICE.

The EnterSTEAM Guidebook for Teachers is now available in 7 languages: English, Latvian, Romanian, Hungarian, Austrian German, Turkish, and Italian.
